Analytics Update

In response to requests submitted by Academic users, we have implemented significant updates to the General SLcM reports in Analytics.

All Enrollment and Admissions reports now contain student contact information including email, cell phone and standard address.

Two new reports were introduced to assist with administrative processes in the Deans’ and Chairs’ offices:

  • A Status and Holds report that will allow selection of all students with a specific hold or status or viewing of all students with all their active holds and statuses. Results may be filtered by Program, Organization, Hold or Status. Contact information as well as campus will also be available in this report.
  • To assist retention efforts, we offer an enrollment report that will display students who are enrolled in the current term (Fall/Spring) but do not yet have a schedule for a future term that is open for booking. This report will also include contact information to facilitate reaching out to these students.

Authorized users will find Analytics under the Employee tab in myOleMiss.

Analytics Reporting: Funds Management Reports – New!

Need to know your budget carryover from the previous fiscal year?    How about available balances and expenses?   Maybe you need to view the account number of an item that has been paid?

The Office of Information Technology proudly announces the roll-out of additional reports added to Analytics Reporting located within myOleMiss.   These new reports are based on SAP’s Budget Control System which enables authorized users to view their current budget, commitments, expenditures, and available balances.  Analytics Reporting is uniquely designed to allow authorized users to build, view, and quickly access SAP reports based on specified data selections. Using SAP’s Business Intelligence,  reports are refreshed nightly from the SAP transaction system.  So, the information in the reports is accurate as of the previous night.

The first set of reports, Student Lifecycle Management (SLCM) reports, rolled out in October and targeted academic administrators.  (See Analytics Reporting:  New SAP Reports at Your Fingertips for more information.)

Authorized users can access these reports in myOleMiss by choosing the Employee tab => then, Analytics or via the following link:  www.olemiss.edu/analytics.  With your continued requests for certain types of data, Analytics Reporting will become the University of Mississippi’s sophisticated tool for delivering reports at your fingertips!  To request new reports be added, authorized users will  be able to access the link to do so within the Analytics interface.
